Remote monitoring control ability is most used when you are monitoring tank levels, PH levels, or on and off status’ of pump station, whether in the water or wastewater applications. To receive these signals can be done either via dry phone lines called leased lines, dial up telephone lines, spread spectrum radio links, licensed radio links, or through the internet. All of these provide the same general ability to transmit and receive data for status and control.
Recently plants are ulitizing low wattage radio for transmitting data from building to building, instead of installing expensive fiber optic networks. There are draw backs, with how much data can be sent at one particular time, but the cost savings is significant.
Most applications communicate essential information such as how full a tank is and whether to turn a pump on or off. This equipment has been around for many years and is a reliable source for communication.
D&B has experience in installing remote monitoring and controls for over 25 years.
We believe success is founded in the quality and reliability built into each product. You can depend on us to provide the highest quality and service - on time and at a competitive price.
